Rose Galloway

Rose is the Assistant Farm Manager at Galloway Family Farm & Education Center.  She is quadrilingual and she fluently reads and writes and communicates daily in 1) Swahili (one of two official languages of the East African Community countries); 2) Kikuyu (her tribal language); 3) Japanese and 4) English. 

 

Rose’s Eco-entrepreneurship approach as a farmer, garden consultant, on-site edible garden builder and educator regarding 

the relationships between people, living things and the environment is noteworthy. She is honored to have three (3) Citizenships (Kenyan, Japanese, and American).  She is a skilled eco-educator, well-traveled and cultured gardener.

Tracy Galloway

As a 3rd generation and Veteran Small Farm Business Owner, Tracy along with his wife and family operates an Organic Farm and Educational Training Center whose primary focus is educating Families, Schools, Communities and Businesses to create their own micro economies by turning their Land into “Organic Edible Landscapes”.  

 

Tracy’s Eco-entrepreneurship approach as a farmer, garden consultant, on-site edible garden builder, educator and motivational speaker contributes to sustainable development while making profit.  

 

As a “PST” (People, Soil and Trees) lover, Tracy enjoys teaching, reading, garden therapy, camping and meditating. His love for nature compels him to “pass the baton” while alive to the next generation.

Karena Poke

As an independent Community Investment Coordinator, Karena has used her skillset across both corporate and nonprofit entities.

​

Karena is an eco-entrepreneur,  garden educator, edible garden consultant and gardener -- who builds on-site edible gardens for individuals and corporations.

​

A true love for connecting people with the plants, Karena is currently pursing her Horticulture Therapist appointment at the University of Florida. She also enjoys managing a community garden located in Missouri City, Texas, growing an array of food in her home garden and inspiring people to grow their own food.

​
